So these two guys - who are super cool - were out and about for a bike ride and came by to visit the store to pick up a gift. The little guy has two dads... one is a pastor at a local church. We are very happy they are friends of Love Shine!

Last Saturday we had a Tent Sale. It was a a beautiful day - sun was shining, Richard wore shorts for the first time, we chatted with neighbors and brought some fun to the 'hood.

Meet Alexandra... and her dad Robert

Robert: "Alexandra is in the 4th grade and was looking for a school bag. She lives in Springfield, MA area and wants to be a veterinarian when she grows up. She plays violin and piano and really wanted to come to the 'bag store' to buy a nice bag."

Alexandra: "I think the bags at Love Shine are so fun and outgoing! I love them!!!"

We appreciate the fact that Robert and Alexandra came to the East Village to seek us out. And it was a pleasure to meet the both of them (they, too, are FUN and very nice people)... we hope to see them back in the future.

These 2 lovely ladies came in together and much to our surprise, they both had Love Shine
bags on their shoulders. But it was time for something fresh and new and they both bought a new bag (check out the bags in their hands!).

Heartwarming story... at Love Shine

Ok, so Richard was working the last week and met 2 adorable customers - a mother and, a little later, her daughter.

First the mother came in because her daughter had mentioned that she really likes our store and it was her birthday so she wanted to surprise her with a Love Shine bag. She was overwhelmed with the choices but her eyes were drawn to a Lady Yang Market Bag. Soooo she decided to call her daughter and see if she could pop by the store (they live in nearby) to decide for herself.

The daughter arrived. And what do you know... she went to the Lady Yang bag too! Like mother, like daughter! Both women arrived and left with giant smiles on their faces. We wish the daughter much success with her performing career!
